OUR TECHNOLOGY
Circuit boards power the world but are built for hard goods. LOOMIA makes a new form-factor of circuit—a soft circuit (e-textile) system—that can be used to power soft goods. From automotive to apparel, our soft circuit systems can be used when standard PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) aren't up to the task—bringing heating, lighting, and sensing to car seats, medical apparel, outdoor gear, and more.
Three years of research went into developing the LEL technology, resourcing Stanford’s SNSF lab for analysis and characterization. The resulting, patented technology can be designed to execute a wide range of functionalities.
PRODUCTION
Through our partnership with Eastprint, the LEL can be produced at up to 20,000 units a week in an ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified facility. We source our materials from reputable brands, ensuring that we can reach scale production when necessary.
SOFT SWITCHES & SMART SURFACES
Soft switches for soft interfaces and control panels. We can design the sensors to work with your control modules.
ANTENNAS & COILS
The LEL can be patterned and programmed to act as an antenna for certain use cases.
LIGHTING SOFT CIRCUIT SYSTEMS
The lighting LEL system features flat LEDs that can seamlessly fit into textiles for higher visibility safety apparel.
DATA & POWER LINES
The LEL can be patterned to carry power and data on as many channels as necessary to work with your control modules and sensors.
HEATING SOFT CIRCUIT SYSTEMS
The LEL can be designed to act as a flexible heating element for heated clothing, shoes, interiors and soft goods for outdoor activities.

Washability Testing
Our washability testing is done by a 3rd party in accordance with the AATCC 135 standard. We test for a cold wash on delicates and a 30min tumble dry low cycle.
Certification
Our heating LEL system with two off-the-shelf power bank options and our adaptor cable have been FCC certified. Additionally, our multi-purpose adaptor cable has been FCC & CE certified. Certificates available upon request.
Conformability
LOOMIA Electronic Layer products are more conformable than other turn-key solutions in the market. We provide the flexibility while not compromising the safety and insulation for your needs.
LOOMIA works with Eastprint, a 40 year old printed electronics manufacturer to produce our technology at scale. We work with our e-textile integration partner to handle large orders, meaning you can expect the delivery and production of a large business from a small company. Our production is done in Mexico for large runs, and in the U.S. for small runs.
